Jonah Best is a director based in NYC. He has worked with recording artists Kesha, Big Freedia, Jack Harlow, Kygo, OSHUN, and Avril Lavigne, as well as with brands including Snapchat, Microsoft, Dodge, Verizon, T-Mobile, American Express, and Edible Arrangements.

Jonah's stylistic range is a reflection of the creative partnership he forms with clients and recording artists for each distinct project. Whether a project is whimsical or brooding, sentimental or sober (or all of the above), the core of Jonah’s style is magical realism that weaves otherworldly imagery into everyday settings. 

In addition to working with celebrated musicians and global brands, Jonah develops his own film projects in which characters usually navigate cultural divides, sprawling cities, and space battles. Lots of space battles.

Jonah received his BA in Film Production at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He was born and raised in Northeast Washington, D.C.
